Resources for Writers

I feel very grateful for all the help I’ve been given since I started writing for children. I’m still learning lots and always will be, but I’d like to share some of the things that have helped me along the way so far, in case they’re of any use to anyone else.

The SCBWI has been a huge help and support and I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone interested in, or already, writing or illustrating for children.

If you’re interested in reading about writing, there are hundreds of books and websites to choose from, and it can all get a bit overwhelming. I’ve included the books and websites I’ve found most useful and interesting here.
